Jody lives in Door County and owned exactly one traditional mahjong tile set.

Then she met Anna playing mahjong.

Anna, on the other hand, buys tile sets constantly.

Jody started imagining what an actual Door County set could look like — cherries, birch trees, lighthouses, wildflowers, barns, sailboats and even that iconic winding road.

Anna was immediately in.

Jody created the tiles. Anna designed the packaging and became the person most likely to tell absolutely everyone that they need a set.

And Door Co Mahj was born.
